As a former postal worker of 23 years I worked the counter for 10 years in a suburb of Seattle.

I must agree with your assessment. Let me tell you every morning I would raise the flag with veterans standing at attention and saluting. I also would have older folks come in to make sure the federal government was working as the PO was their only direct contact with the federal government.. The best part? Little older ladies would bring fresh baked cookies and cakes to show their appreciation…

My Mom worked as a Medicaid examiner for 27 years and she helped so many people. She is a wonderful person.

Well said, Frederic! I heard you say you were in aviation, which prompts me to ask - how safe do you think it is to fly right now? I'm supposed to fly to South Carolina next week, and I'm pretty worried with all the FAA firings. Thank you.

It’s pretty safe. Safer than driving in a car. The firings in the FAA are concerning for sure and it will have a downline effect in the future but right now it’s about as safe as it usually is.

Though that’s relative. The aviation industry needs better working conditions, safer aircraft but compared to being in a car it’s still safer.

Thank you for sharing about your family today. I just read that the judge gave the go ahead for Musk to continue his meddling because the states couldn’t prove that he was doing any harm. I want to know where the proof is that he’s doing any good? Why is the burden of proof being placed on the people who’s lives are being scrutinized and torn apart?
